The Constellations Between Your Freckles

I hope I get the time,

To name the constellations

I draw between your freckles.

I hope I get to hear you sing again,

So that sound of your voice

Which could make angels sin

Echos between my thoughts.

I hope I get to kiss away,

At every inch of every scar,

Every inch of every insecurity.

I hope one day you feel

As beautiful as I see you

    1. Thanks, it’s kinda cheesy, but whatever it’s good to be vulnerable.

      1. Cheesy maybe, but we need cheesy and I love it. To hear a voice “Which could make angels sin” now that’s got me wondering. Thanks!

  2. There are some wonderful lines in this poem. It sounds more original to me than a lot of the poetry I’ve read on WordPress. If you have another look at it in a few weeks, or a few months time, I believe you will be able to make some minor improvements to it though.

  4. your entro (I like it with an e) is neat. It kinda drags on and asks no one like me to the conversation, even if it likes corporatist with fast cars who hit me with puddles while I wait for the bus, but I like it. The intro not puddles, the bus or corporatist. 😉👍

  7. I absolutely love those first three lines! Bravo! There’s a lot of depth to be explored in the idea of constellations and what they carry.
