Bury the Snow

This place is haunted
Besieged by skeletons and ghosts
Hiding in the broad daylight
Hiding behind my eye lids
If I dig the graves
Will they bury themselves?
But I can’t bury the snow beneath the earth
To hide the footprints of the last fall
But stick around for the sunset
And stay for the dawn
And maybe the sun will erase the footprints
And melt away the ghosts

  1. We try to, get rid of, so many things that had already happened, because they have that, huge effect on our, lives, thinking that, if we cover them up, don’t see them, then, they won’t, bother us, but, that’s only a, mirage. We are, affected by everything and everyone in our, lives. Ther’es, no, escape!

  2. What a metaphor dear! Really appreciative.
I’m also a poet, I can understand the way it’s full of everything, in it.
