The Word Just

I just hate the word “just”

That I just so stubbornly say

To just belittle my words

Just before I send them away

To ride just before a thin line

That I just dare not cross

It’s just that I hate it when

I just say the word just

  2. I agree with that. In fact, I type it or say it and delete it or take it back nine times out of ten. I believe I kept it once yesterday in a line of poetry though. It belittled what I said necessarily. Ha

    1. Exactly! You understand what I’m saying. I say it often, and then realize the statement would be stronger without it, and then regret I said it
