High School Reunion

I’ve been getting into treasure hunting lately.

Dumpster diving and bounty hunting too.

If you’re keeping score

You might lose count

It’s a million to one,

You.

But in a hundred years you’ll be ashes and dust

And I will be,

Too

We’ll keep score with the flowers on our graves.

And the roots grown out of our bones.

I’m no sore loser

Just never agreed to play

I wouldn’t play by the rules.

If I even knew them anyway
